1. Disconnect the battery: Before starting any work, disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical accidents.
2. Remove the air cleaner: Remove the air cleaner cover and air filter to gain access to the fuel injectors.
3. Disconnect the fuel lines: Use a fuel line disconnect tool to disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel injectors. Be careful not to spill any fuel.
4. Remove the injector hold-down bolts: Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts that hold the fuel injectors in place.
5. Remove the fuel injectors: Once the bolts are removed, you can carefully lift the fuel injectors out of the engine.
Be careful not to damage the O-rings on the fuel injectors when removing them. If the O-rings are damaged, they will need to be replaced.
To reinstall the fuel injectors, simply follow these steps in reverse order. Make sure to tighten the hold-down bolts to the correct torque specification.
