Step 1: Safety Precautions
Before starting any work, ensure the engine is turned off and cooled down, and the parking brake is engaged.
Step 2: Locate the Headlamp Assembly
Open the hood of the vehicle. Locate the headlamp assembly on the driver's side.
Step 3: Remove the Headlamp Cover
There might be a protective cover over the headlamp assembly. Remove this cover by unclipping or unscrewing it as necessary.
Step 4: Remove the Old Bulb
- Locate the old xenon bulb within the headlamp assembly. It's usually fixed in place with a metal clip.
- Carefully release the clip by pressing or sliding it in the appropriate direction.
- Once the clip is released, the old bulb can be removed.
Step 5: Install the New Bulb
- Align the new bulb with the bulb holder and gently insert it into place.
- Secure the new bulb with the metal clip.
Step 6: Test the Headlamp
- Turn on the vehicle's lights and check if the new headlamp is working properly.
Step 7: Replace the Headlamp Cover
- If the headlamp cover was removed in Step 3, replace it now by clipping or screwing it back into place.
Step 8: Close the Hood
- Close the hood of the vehicle.
