1. Turn off the ignition and allow the car to cool down.
2. Open the driver's side door.
3. Locate the map light cover on the ceiling. It is a rectangular panel that is located near the middle of the car.
4. Use a flat-head screwdriver or other prying tool to pry the cover off of the ceiling. Be careful not to damage the cover or the surrounding trim.
5. Once the cover is removed, you will see the map light bulb.
6. Remove the old bulb by turning it counterclockwise.
7. Insert the new bulb by turning it clockwise until it is snug.
8. Replace the map light cover.
9. Test the map light to make sure it is working properly.
