1. Turn the ignition switch to the "II" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Turn the audio system on.
3. Press the preset buttons numbered "2" and "3" simultaneously for at least two seconds.
4. The display will show "CODE" and four dashes.
5. Enter the radio code using the preset buttons. The code will be displayed as you enter it.
6. Press the preset button numbered "1" to confirm the code.
7. The display will show "CODE ACCEPTED" for a few seconds, and then the radio will return to normal operation.
If the radio code is incorrect:
- The display will show "CODE ERROR" for a few seconds, and then the radio will turn off.
- You can try to enter the radio code again by repeating steps 2 to 7.
- If you still cannot enter the correct radio code, you will need to take your car to a Volvo dealership or authorized service center.
