Where is the fuel pump ground on a Volvo 940 you are chasing an intermittent starting problem?

There are two possible locations;

1. Passenger footwell: on the firewall, remove panel to access it or

2. Rear wheel arch: inside the body where the fuel hose goes into the body. Disconnect the wiring plug by squeezing the retaining tabs and pull the cable from the body. Clean terminal and ensure a tight connection.
