How do you change oil in automatic transmission Audi A4 1.8?

Tools and materials needed:

- New automatic transmission fluid (ATF) that meets the manufacturer's specifications

- Oil drain pan

- Funnel

- Wrench

- Rags

- Safety goggles

Instructions:

1. Park your car on a level surface and turn off the engine.

2. Allow the engine to cool down.

3. Crawl underneath the car and locate the transmission oil pan. It is usually located at the bottom of the transmission and has a drain plug.

4. Place the oil drain pan under the drain plug.

5. Use the wrench to loosen the drain plug and allow the old ATF to drain into the pan.

6. Once the old ATF has drained completely, replace the drain plug and tighten it securely.

7. Locate the transmission fluid fill plug. It is usually located on the side of the transmission and has a dipstick attached to it.

8. Use the funnel to add new ATF to the transmission through the fill plug.

9. Add ATF until the fluid level reaches the "Full" mark on the dipstick.

10. Replace the fill plug and tighten it securely.

11. Lower the car back down to the ground.

12. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. This will circulate the new ATF throughout the transmission.

13. Check the transmission fluid level again and add more ATF if necessary.

Tips:

- When draining the old ATF, be careful not to spill any on yourself or the ground. It can be harmful to your skin and eyes.

- If you are not comfortable performing this task yourself, you can take your car to a qualified mechanic.
