1.Ensure that the vehicle is parked on level ground and the engine is turned off.
2.Open the bonnet/hood of the vehicle and locate the fuel filler cap. It is
usually a round, plastic cap located on the rear of the vehicle, near the license plate.
3.Remove the fuel filler cap and carefully remove the fuel filler neck cover which
often is attached to it. (note that some filler caps have the neck cover attached to the cap so there is no separate item to remove) . This will expose the fuel filler neck.
4.Insert a suitable siphon hose into the fuel filler neck. The siphon hose should be
long enough to reach the bottom of the fuel tank.
5.Start siphoning the fuel from the tank. You can do this by sucking on the hose or using a siphon pump. Be careful not to swallow any petrol.
6.Continue siphoning until the fuel tank is empty.
7.Replace the fuel filler neck cover and the fuel filler cap.
