1. Open the hood of your Grand Cherokee.
2. Locate the spark plug wires. They are located on the top of the engine, and are connected to the spark plugs.
3. Remove the spark plug wires by pulling them straight up.
4. Use a spark plug socket wrench to loosen the spark plugs.
5. Remove the spark plugs by hand.
Changing the Spark Plugs
1. Apply a small amount of anti-seize to the threads of the new spark plugs.
2. Screw the new spark plugs into the cylinder head by hand.
3. Use a spark plug socket wrench to tighten the spark plugs.
4. Reconnect the spark plug wires.
5. Close the hood of your Grand Cherokee.
Tips
* Be careful not to drop the spark plugs when removing or installing them.
* Make sure that the spark plug wires are connected properly before starting the engine.
* Replace the spark plugs every 30,000 miles or as recommended in your owner's manual.
