Can you caulk your windshield to stop condensation?

Caulking your windshield will not prevent condensation from forming. While caulking can help seal gaps and cracks, it does not have any effect on moisture and condensation.

Condensation on the windshield is a common occurrence, especially in humid and cold climates. It is caused by the moisture in the air condensing and settling on the cooler surfaces of the car, such as the windshield.

The best way to prevent condensation on the windshield is to keep the inside of the car dry and well-ventilated. This can be done by:

- Using a dehumidifier or air conditioner to reduce the humidity inside the car.

- Opening the windows or vents to allow fresh air to circulate.

- Wiping down the windshield with a clean cloth to remove any moisture.

- Applying a commercial anti-fog treatment to the windshield.
