How do you put the window back on track in a VW Vanagon?

1. Gather your materials. You will need:

* A Phillips head screwdriver

* A flat head screwdriver

* A pair of pliers

* A piece of string

* A new window track (if needed)

2. Remove the door panel. Start by removing the screws that hold the door panel in place. There are typically two screws in the door handle and two in the bottom corner of the door. Once the screws are removed, pry off the door panel with the flat head screwdriver.

3. Locate the window track. The window track is located at the top of the door frame. It is a metal channel that the window slides up and down in.

4. Remove the old window track. If the window track is damaged, you will need to remove it before you can put the window back on track. To do this, use the pliers to remove the screws that hold the track in place. Once the screws are removed, you can pry off the track with the flat head screwdriver.

5. Install the new window track. If you are installing a new window track, simply reverse the steps you took to remove the old track.

6. Put the window back on track. To do this, first, tie a piece of string to the top of the window. This will help you pull the window up into the track. Next, lift the window up into the track and slide it into place. Finally, remove the string.

7. Test the window. Once the window is back on track, test it to make sure it slides up and down smoothly. If the window is not sliding smoothly, you may need to adjust the track. To do this, use the Phillips head screwdriver to loosen the screws that hold the track in place. Once the screws are loose, you can adjust the track until the window slides smoothly.

8. Reattach the door panel. Once the window is working properly, you can reattach the door panel. To do this, simply reverse the steps you took to remove the door panel.
