Step 1: Cylinder Head Bolts
- Tighten the cylinder head bolts in the following sequence to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft):
1. Bolt 1
2. Bolt 2
3. Bolt 3
4. Bolt 4
5. Bolt 5
6. Bolt 6
7. Bolt 7
8. Bolt 8
Step 2: Re-tighten Cylinder Head Bolts
- Re-tighten the cylinder head bolts in the same sequence to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
Step 3: Camshaft Sprocket Bolt
- Tighten the camshaft sprocket bolt to 50 Nm (37 lb-ft).
Step 4: Intake Manifold Bolts
- Tighten the intake manifold bolts to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
Step 5: Exhaust Manifold Bolts
- Tighten the exhaust manifold bolts to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
Step 6: Rocker Arm Assembly
- Tighten the rocker arm assembly bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).
Step 7: Fuel Injector Hold-Down Bolts
- Tighten the fuel injector hold-down bolts to 10 Nm (7 lb-ft).
Step 8: Timing Belt Tension
- Check and adjust the timing belt tension to 90 Hz.
Step 9: Spark Plugs
- Tighten the spark plugs to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
