Where are the ignition timing marks for a 1982 Mazda B2000?

1. Locate the crankshaft pulley. It is located at the front of the engine, below the timing belt cover.

2. Find the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley. It is a small notch or line.

3. Align the timing mark on the crankshaft pulley with the pointer on the timing belt cover.

4. This will indicate that the engine is at top dead center (TDC) on the compression stroke.

5. The ignition timing marks are located on the distributor cap. There are two marks, one for the "0" degree setting and one for the "10" degree setting.

6. Align the distributor cap marks with the mark on the distributor body.

7. This will set the ignition timing to the correct degrees before top dead center (BTDC).
