1. Open the hood of your car.
2. Locate the engine compartment.
3. Look for a long, thin stick with a yellow or orange handle.
This is the engine oil dipstick.
4. Pull the dipstick out of the engine.
5. Check the oil level on the dipstick. The oil level should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the dipstick.
6. If the oil level is low, add engine oil to the engine.
Here's an additional tip to easily locate the dipstick:
On some Mercedes E320 models, the dipstick may have a bright yellow or orange cap. This cap might have the word "Oil" written on it. Look for this cap to quickly find the dipstick.
