Removing the Oil Sump:
1. Place an oil drain pan under the oil drain plug.

5. Using a wrench, loosen and remove the oil sump mounting bolts.
6. Gently pry the oil sump off the engine block, being careful not to spill any remaining oil.
Cleaning and Inspection:
7. Clean the oil sump and the mating surface on the engine block using a degreaser and a rag.
8. Inspect the oil sump for any damage, cracks, or leaks. If any damage is found, replace the oil sump.
Reinstallation:
9. Apply a thin layer of sealant to the mating surface of the oil sump.
10. Carefully position the oil sump onto the engine block and make sure that the gasket is properly seated.
11. Reinstall and tighten the oil sump mounting bolts.
12. Lower the car using the jack or ramps.
13. Refill the engine with the required amount of new oil.
14. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to check for any leaks.
Note:
It's a good idea to replace the oil sump gasket when removing the oil sump to ensure a proper seal and prevent future leaks.
