1990 Toyota Cressida 3.0 distributor installation?

To install the distributor on a 1990 Toyota Cressida 3.0, you will need the following tools:

- 10mm socket

- Ratchet

- Extension

- Pliers

- Flat-head screwdriver

- New distributor

1. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.

2. Locate the distributor on the front of the engine. It is held in place by two 10mm bolts.

3. Use the 10mm socket and ratchet to remove the two bolts.

4. Gently pry the distributor out of its housing. Be careful not to damage the gasket.

5. Remove the old distributor cap and rotor.

6. Inspect the distributor cap and rotor for damage. Replace them if necessary.

7. Install the new distributor cap and rotor.

8. Place the new distributor in its housing.

9. Insert the two 10mm bolts and tighten them until snug.

10. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
