Warning: Before you start working on your vehicle, make sure the engine is cool and the battery is disconnected. Gasoline is highly flammable, so take precautions to avoid any sparks or flames. Additionally, working on fuel injection systems can be dangerous if you do not have the proper knowledge or equipment. If you are unsure how to perform any of the steps, consult with a professional mechanic.
1. Locate the fuel injectors. The fuel injectors are located on the top of the engine, just below the intake manifold. They are held in place by a series of bolts.
2. Remove the bolts holding the injectors in place. Use a wrench to loosen the bolts, and then remove them by hand.
3. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the injectors. Use a screwdriver to pry the connectors off. Be careful not to damage the connectors or the wires.
4. Remove the fuel lines from the injectors. Use a pliers to pinch the fuel line clamps and then pull the lines off.
5. Remove the old injectors. Use a socket wrench to loosen the injectors and then pull them out by hand.
6. Install the new injectors. Insert the new injectors into the engine and hand-tighten them.
7. Tighten the injector bolts. Use a wrench to tighten the bolts until they are snug.
8. Reconnect the electrical connectors to the injectors.
9. Reconnect the fuel lines to the injectors.
10. Reconnect the battery.
11. Start the engine and check for leaks. Look for any leaks around the injectors. If you see any leaks, tighten the bolts or fuel line clamps until the leaks stop.
_Note: Always consult your Mercedes-Benz vehicle's service manual before attempting any repairs or maintenance. Some vehicles may have differences or additional steps that need to be taken, and the service manual will provide specific instructions for your model and year._
