Tools and Materials:
* New gearbox oil (GL-4, 75W-90)
* Oil drain pan
* Funnel
* 17mm wrench
* Rags
Instructions:
1. Park the car on a level surface and turn off the engine.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Crawl under the car and locate the gearbox drain plug. It is located on the bottom of the gearbox, near the rear.
4. Place the oil drain pan under the drain plug.
5. Use the 17mm wrench to loosen the drain plug and allow the old gearbox oil to drain out.
6. Once the old gearbox oil has drained out, replace the drain plug and tighten it securely.
7. Locate the gearbox oil filler plug. It is located on the side of the gearbox, near the top.
8. Remove the filler plug and insert the funnel.
9. Add the new gearbox oil to the gearbox until it reaches the bottom of the filler hole.
10. Replace the filler plug and tighten it securely.
Tips:
* Be careful not to overfill the gearbox with oil. This can cause damage to the gearbox.
* If you spill any gearbox oil on the ground, be sure to clean it up immediately. Gearbox oil is toxic and can damage the environment.
