Where is the glow plug relay located on a volkswagon jetta diesel?

1999.5-2003 Golf/Jetta TDI

The glow plug power relay is located behind the driver's side headlight, above the turn signal relay. It measures about 1.25" x 1.25" x 1.25". Remove the black cover to expose the relays (2). The left glow plug power relay (A) is black and has a part number 103911133F.

1996-2000 Passat TDI

The glow plug relay is located behind the passenger's side headlight. Pull back the rubber cover to expose the relays. The glow plug relay is the silver one with a black top (B). Turn 90 degrees and pull down to remove.

2004-2006 Jetta TDI and 2004-2008 Passat TDI

The glow plug relay is located in a fuse/relay carrier inside the engine compartment near the battery. The glow plug relay is a black cube 1"x 1" x 1" located in the top row under a red cover (A). There are 2 glow plug relays, both identical, but only 1 is active.
