How can you release your footbrake on a Mercedes?

Mercedes-Benz vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission feature an electronic parking brake (EPB). To release the parking brake, simply press the button on the center console.

Here's a step-by-step guide:

* Press the brake pedal with sufficient force.

* While keeping ypur foot on the brake, press the button on the center console.

* The parking brake will disengage and an indicator light will turn off on the instrument panel.

Please note that in Mercedes-Benz vehicles, you mus have your seatbelt fastened and the driver's door closed in order to release the parking brake.
