1. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position, but do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the "Trip Reset" button on the instrument cluster for approximately 10 seconds.
3. The check engine indicator should start to flash.
4. Release the "Trip Reset" button and start the engine.
5. The check engine indicator should turn off.
If the check engine indicator does not turn off, you will need to have your vehicle diagnosed by a certified Audi technician to determine the cause of the problem.
