1. Gather the necessary tools and materials.
* Dump valve (BOV)
* T-bolt clamps (2)
* 1/4-inch vacuum line
* Drill
* 1/8-inch drill bit
* Socket set
* Pliers
* Flat-head screwdriver
2. Remove the stock boost controller.
* The boost controller is located on the firewall, behind the turbocharger.
* Unplug the vacuum lines and remove the controller from its mount.
* Save the vacuum lines and bolts for later use.
3. Install the dump valve.
* Place the dump valve in the position vacated by the boost controller.
* Use the T-bolt clamps to secure the dump valve to the turbo outlet pipe and the intercooler pipe.
* Tighten the clamps until snug.
4. Connect the vacuum lines.
* Connect one vacuum line from the dump valve to the turbocharger.
* Connect the other vacuum line from the dump valve to the intercooler pipe.
5. Test the dump valve.
* Start the engine and let it idle.
* Slowly increase the engine RPMs until the dump valve opens.
* The dump valve should open at around 10-12 psi of boost.
* If the dump valve does not open, check the vacuum lines for leaks.
