1. Make sure the car’s engine is off.
2. Open the hood of the car and disconnect the negative terminal of the car’s battery to avoid any electrical mishaps.
3. Locate the fuel injector rail. On the Fox, it’s located on top of the engine, above the intake manifold. It’s a black plastic part with four metal tubes connected to it.
4. Remove the fuel injection rail by unbolting the two bolts that hold it in place.
5. Once the rail is removed, lift up gently and pull it upwards to disconnect the fuel injectors from the fuel lines.
6. Carefully remove the electrical connector from each fuel injector.
7. Take out the fuel injectors by gently unbolting them from the injector rail.
8. Inspect the fuel injectors by looking for any signs of damage, such as cracks or breaks in the plastic body or any corrosion on the metal parts. Also check the wiring for any breakage.
9. If you notice any damage, replace the faulty fuel injector with a new one.
10. Re-install the fuel injectors, electrical connector, fuel lines, and injector rail in reverse order.
11. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery to complete the process.
