- A flat-head screwdriver
- A Phillips-head screwdriver
- A 10mm socket wrench
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the battery. This is important to prevent any electrical shocks.
2. Remove the steering wheel. To do this, first remove the two screws that hold the airbag in place. Then, remove the airbag by carefully pulling it out of the steering wheel. Once the airbag is removed, you can remove the steering wheel by unscrewing the nut in the center.
3. Remove the ignition switch cover. This is the plastic cover that surrounds the ignition switch. There are two screws that hold it in place.
4. Remove the old ignition switch. This is held in place by three screws. Once the screws are removed, you can pull the ignition switch out of the housing.
5. Install the new ignition switch. Insert the new ignition switch into the housing and secure it with the three screws.
6. Replace the ignition switch cover. Secure it with the two screws.
7. Replace the steering wheel. Screw the nut back into the center of the steering wheel. Then, put the airbag back into the steering wheel.
8. Reconnect the battery.
Your Citroen Saxo 1.1 SX ignition switch is now changed!
