How do you change the engine on a 91 Previa?

To change the engine on a 1991 Previa, you will need the following:

* A new engine

* An engine hoist

* A set of wrenches

* A set of sockets

* A ratchet

* A breaker bar

* A torque wrench

* A screwdriver

* A funnel

* A new oil filter

* New antifreeze

* New spark plugs

* New coolant

Step 1: Remove the old engine

1. Disconnect the battery.

2. Remove the air filter housing.

3. Remove the radiator hoses.

4. Remove the fuel lines.

5. Remove the spark plug wires.

6. Remove the starter.

7. Remove the alternator.

8. Remove the power steering pump.

9. Remove the air conditioning compressor.

10. Remove the engine mounts.

11. Lift the engine out of the vehicle with the engine hoist.

Step 2: Install the new engine

1. Lower the new engine into the vehicle with the engine hoist.

2. Install the engine mounts.

3. Install the power steering pump.

5. Install the alternator.

11. Reconnect the battery.

Step 3: Fill the fluids

1. Fill the engine with oil.

2. Fill the radiator with antifreeze.

3. Fill the brake fluid reservoir.

4. Fill the power steering fluid reservoir.

5. Fill the air conditioning system.

Step 4: Start the engine

1. Turn the key to the "ON" position.

2. Wait for the fuel pump to prime.

3. Start the engine.

4. Let the engine run for a few minutes.

5. Check for any leaks.

Step 5: Drive the vehicle

1. Put the vehicle in gear.
