1. Locate the fuel filter. It is located on the driver's side of the engine, near the front.
2. Remove the fuel filter cap and allow the fuel to drain out.
3. Once all of the fuel has drained out, reinstall the fuel filter cap.
4. Locate the fuel injection pump. It is located on the top of the engine, near the back.
5. Loosen the fuel injection pump bleed screw by using an Allen or Torx wrench.
6. Allow the air that is trapped in the fuel injection pump to escape.
7. Tighten the fuel injection pump bleed screw.
8. Start the engine and allow it to run for a few minutes. This will help to circulate the fuel throughout the system.
9. Check for any leaks. If you find any leaks, tighten the fittings until the leaks stop.
Your 2004 N14 cummins should now be free of air in the fuel lines.
