2. Remove the starter relay from the bike. It is located under the seat, on the right side of the bike.
3. Remove the two bolts that hold the starter to the engine.
4. Pull the starter straight out of the engine.
5. Be careful not to drop the starter into the engine.
6. Inspect the starter for damage. If there is any damage, replace the starter.
7. Reinstall the starter in reverse order of removal.
8. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
