- Camshaft: The camshaft is a shaft that controls the opening and closing of the valves in the cylinder head. It is driven by the crankshaft through a timing belt or chain.
- Oil pump: The oil pump circulates oil throughout the engine to lubricate the moving parts. It also helps to cool the engine.
- Water pump: The water pump circulates coolant through the engine to help regulate the engine's temperature.
- Fuel injector: The fuel injector sprays fuel into the cylinders at the appropriate time. It is controlled by the engine's electronic control unit (ECU).
- Spark plug: The spark plug provides the electrical spark that ignites the fuel in the cylinders. It is controlled by the ECU.
