Tools and Materials Needed:
- New window motor
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Flathead screwdriver
- Wrench set
- Socket set
- Wire stripper
- Electrical tape
- Crimp connectors
Instructions:
1. Disconnect Battery: Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to prevent any electrical accidents during the installation process.
2. Remove Door Panel:
- Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the door panel in place.
- Use a flathead screwdriver to pry the door panel off, starting from the bottom edge and working your way up.
- Disconnect any electrical connections behind the door panel, such as the power window switch and speaker wires.
3. Remove Old Motor:
- Locate the window motor assembly, which is usually mounted inside the door near the window regulator.
- Unplug the electrical connector from the motor.
- Remove the bolts or screws that hold the motor in place.
- Carefully remove the old motor from the door.
4. Install New Motor:
- Place the new window motor in the same position as the old one.
- Reinstall the bolts or screws that hold the motor in place.
- Reconnect the electrical connector to the motor.
5. Test the Motor:
- Reconnect the battery and turn on the ignition.
- Test the window motor by operating the power window switch.
- Ensure that the window moves up and down smoothly without any obstructions.
6. Reinstall Door Panel:
- Connect any electrical connections that were disconnected earlier, such as the power window switch and speaker wires.
- Reinstall the door panel by snapping it back into place.
- Secure the door panel with the screws that were removed earlier.
7. Reconnect the Battery: Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery to restore power to the electrical system.

- If the window motor does not work after installation, check the electrical connections and make sure they are secure.
- If the window moves slowly or makes a grinding noise, it may be necessary to lubricate the window regulator.
