1. Disconnect the battery.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Remove the intake manifold.
4. Remove the exhaust manifold.
5. Remove the timing belt cover.
6. Loosen the camshaft sprocket bolts.
7. Remove the timing belt.
8. Remove the cylinder head bolts.
9. Remove the cylinder head.
10. Clean the cylinder head and block mating surfaces.
11. Install a new head gasket.
12. Install the cylinder head.
13. Torque the cylinder head bolts to the specified torque.
14. Install the timing belt.
15. Tension the timing belt.
16. Install the timing belt cover.
17. Install the exhaust manifold.
18. Install the intake manifold.
19. Fill the coolant system.
20. Connect the battery.
21. Start the engine and check for leaks.
