- Phillips head screwdriver
- Flat head screwdriver
- New tail light assembly
- Replacement bulb (if necessary)
1. Park your vehicle in a safe location and turn off the engine. Engage the parking brake.
2. Open the trunk of your vehicle.
3. Locate the tail light assembly that you need to replace. It is located in the rear of the vehicle, on either the left or right side.
4. Remove the screws that hold the tail light assembly in place. There are typically two screws, one on the top and one on the bottom.
5. Once the screws are removed, use a flat head screwdriver to pry the tail light assembly out of its housing.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the tail light assembly.
7. Remove the old bulb from the tail light assembly.
8. Insert the new bulb into the tail light assembly.
9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the tail light assembly.
10. Reinstall the tail light assembly into its housing.
11. Replace the screws that hold the tail light assembly in place.
12. Close the trunk of your vehicle.
Note: If you are replacing the entire tail light assembly, you will need to transfer the bulbs and electrical connectors from the old assembly to the new one.

- Make sure that the new tail light assembly is the correct size and shape for your vehicle.
- Be careful not to drop the tail light assembly when removing it from its housing.
- Take care not to damage the electrical connector when disconnecting it from the tail light assembly.
