1. Locate the gearbox fill plug which is typically found on the side of the gearbox housing. Check your vehicle`s documentation for exact location of the fill plug.
2. Place an oil pan underneath the fill plug to catch any dripping oil.
3. Using a suitable tool (usually an Allen key or a hex wrench), loosen and remove the fill plug. Be careful not to lose the gasket if there is one.
4. Insert the tip of the oil bottle or a funnel into the fill hole.
5. Start pouring the recommended amount of gearbox oil as specified in your vehicle`s owner`s manual. Typically for Honda H22A gearbox that would be roughly between 2 to 3 litres of Honda OEM MTF (manual transmission fluid), or its equivalent. Always use high-quality transmission fluid designed to meet Honda`s specifications.
6. Once the recommended amount of oil has been added, replace the fill plug and tightening it securely. Make sure to replace the fill plug gasket if removed or replace it if it appears worn or damaged.
