Here are the steps on how to change the front fog lamp on a Ford S-Max:
1. Open the hood of your vehicle and locate the front fog lamp assembly. The fog lamps are located in the lower front fascia of the vehicle, on either side of the license plate.
2. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two screws that hold the plastic cover of the fog lamp assembly in place.
3. Gently pry off the plastic cover of the fog lamp assembly using a flat-head screwdriver. Be careful not to damage the cover or any of the surrounding components.
4. Locate the 10mm bolt that holds the fog lamp assembly in place. Use the socket wrench and 10mm socket to loosen and remove the bolt.
5. Gently remove the fog lamp assembly from the vehicle. Be careful not to drop the assembly or damage any of the electrical connections.
6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the fog lamp assembly.
7. Remove the old fog lamp from the assembly by turning it counterclockwise.
8. Insert the new fog lamp into the assembly and turn it clockwise until it is secure.
9. Reconnect the electrical connector to the back of the fog lamp assembly.
10. Reattach the fog lamp assembly to the vehicle by tightening the 10mm bolt.
11. Snap the plastic cover back on the fog lamp assembly and secure it with the two Phillips head screws.
12. Close the hood of your vehicle and test the new fog lamp assembly to ensure that it is working properly.
