2. Locate the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) on your Citroen C3.
3. The gearbox number is usually indicated within the VIN sequence.
4. The VIN is typically found on the following area:
- At the bottom right of the car's windshield, visible from outside.
- On a small metallic plate at the bottom end of the driver door frame.
- On the left side of the engine compartment, as you open the car's hood.
5. The VIN is a 17-character alphanumeric code that provides various vehicle information, including the gearbox number.
6. Identify the 8th character of the VIN.
- If it is alphanumeric, it represents your Citroen C3's gearbox type.
- If it is a number, your gearbox number will be either:
- The 7th character of the VIN (for models prior to 2005)
