Park your vehicle on a level surface and apply the parking brake.
Locate the oil dipstick tube under the hood. It's usually a thin metal tube marked with "Oil" or "Engine Oil."
Clean the area around the broken dipstick tube with a degreaser or brake cleaner.
If the dipstick tube is broken near the top, you can try removing the broken part by pulling it out using a pair of pliers. Be careful not to drop any debris into the engine.
If the dipstick tube is broken lower down, you may need to remove the intake manifold to access it. Consult the vehicle's repair manual for specific instructions on removing the intake manifold.
Once you have removed the broken part of the dipstick tube, you can replace it with a new one. Insert the new dipstick tube into the hole and secure it with the clamps or bolts provided.
Reinstall the intake manifold if necessary.
Check the oil level using the new dipstick and add oil if necessary.
Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to check for any leaks.
Turn off the engine and inspect underneath for any leaks. Fix any leaks as needed.
