1. Locate the coolant reservoir. It is a translucent plastic tank with a black cap located near the front of the engine bay, on the driver's side.
2. Check the coolant level. The coolant level should be between the "Full" and "Add" marks on the reservoir.
3. If the coolant level is low, add a 50/50 mixture of ethylene glycol-based coolant and water to the reservoir. Use a funnel to avoid spills.
4. Be sure to mix the engine coolant according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5. Replace the reservoir cap securely.
6. Run the engine for a few minutes to circulate the coolant throughout the system.
7. Check the coolant level again and add more coolant if necessary.
Note: It is important to use a 50/50 mixture of ethylene glycol-based coolant and water to prevent freezing and overheating. Do not use pure water or antifreeze, as this can damage the cooling system.
