Fan does not turn on to cool engine?

There are a few reasons why a fan may not turn on to cool an engine:

* Faulty fan motor: The fan motor may be damaged or have a loose connection, preventing it from receiving power.

* Faulty temperature sensor: The temperature sensor may be malfunctioning, providing incorrect information to the engine control unit (ECU) about the engine's temperature. This can cause the ECU to not turn on the fan when it is needed.

* Faulty ECU: The ECU may be damaged or have a loose connection, preventing it from sending the signal to turn on the fan.

* Low coolant level: If the coolant level is too low, the fan may not turn on because the coolant is not able to circulate properly.

* Clogged radiator: If the radiator is clogged with debris, the fan may not be able to draw enough air through it to cool the engine.

If you are not able to identify the cause of the problem yourself, it is best to take your vehicle to a qualified mechanic for diagnosis and repair.
