Crankshaft Bolt Tightening Torques

(1). 76-79 ft-lb

(2). Turn bolt an additional 90 degrees

(3). Apply a liquid sealant to bolt head after tightening

Special Notes

If the nut needs to be loosened or removed completely, then the bolt must also be loosened. Loosen the bolt before loosening the nut.

Make sure that the oil passage in the bolt head does not become clogged.
