How do you install Thermostat in a Mazda B2200?

Tools and Materials:

* New thermostat

* Thermostat gasket

* Coolant

* Wrench set

* Screwdriver

* Bucket or pan

* Funnel

Instructions:

1. Park your Mazda B2200 on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow it to cool down completely.

2. Open the hood of your Mazda B2200.

3. Locate the thermostat housing. It is usually located near the top of the engine, near the radiator hose.

4. Place a bucket or pan under the thermostat housing to catch any coolant that may spill.

5. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the thermostat housing in place.

6. Remove the old thermostat and thermostat gasket from the housing.

7. Clean the thermostat housing and the mating surfaces on the engine block.

8. Place the new thermostat in the housing, making sure that the jiggle valve is facing up.

9. Install the new thermostat gasket.

10. Replace the thermostat housing and secure it with the screws.

11. Refill the cooling system with coolant until the level reaches the "full" mark on the reservoir tank.

12. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the coolant.

13. Check for any leaks around the thermostat housing. If you see any leaks, tighten the screws until the leak stops.

Tips:

* Make sure that you purchase the correct thermostat for your Mazda B2200.

* If you are not comfortable performing this repair yourself, you can take your Mazda B2200 to a qualified mechanic.

* Be careful when working around hot engine parts.
