1. Park the tractor on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
2. Locate the hydraulic filter. The hydraulic filter is located on the right side of the tractor, near the transmission. It is a cylindrical-shaped object with a black cap.
3. Clean the area around the hydraulic filter. Use a rag to wipe away any dirt or debris from the area around the filter. This will help to prevent contamination of the hydraulic system.
4. Loosen the filter cap. Use a wrench to loosen the filter cap. Be careful not to drop the cap into the hydraulic system.
5. Remove the filter element. Once the filter cap is loosened, you can remove the filter element from the housing. Be careful not to spill any hydraulic fluid.
6. Inspect the filter element. Inspect the filter element for any signs of damage or contamination. If the filter element is damaged or contaminated, it must be replaced.
7. Install a new filter element. If the filter element is in good condition, you can install a new filter element. Make sure that the new filter element is the same size and type as the old filter element.
8. Tighten the filter cap. Once the new filter element is installed, you can tighten the filter cap. Be sure to tighten the cap securely to prevent leaks.
9. Start the tractor and check for leaks. Start the tractor and check for any leaks around the hydraulic filter. If there are any leaks, tighten the filter cap until the leaks stop.
