Step 1: Open the hood of your vehicle and locate the engine.
Step 2: The thermostat is located on the passenger side of the engine, just behind the upper radiator hose.
Step 3: The thermostat is housed in a metal housing. The housing has two bolts that secure it in place.
Step 4: To remove the thermostat, simply loosen the two bolts and then remove the housing. The thermostat will be located inside the housing.
