1. Remove the undercover.
2. Locate the drain plug on the bottom of the transmission oil pan.
3. Place an oil drain pan under the drain plug.
4. Use a 17 mm wrench to loosen the drain plug.
5. Allow the transmission fluid to drain into the oil drain pan.
6. Replace the drain plug and tighten it securely.
2004 and Newer:
1. Remove the vehicle cover.
2. Locate the transmission oil level check nut.
3. Place a drain pan under the oil level check nut
4. Loosen the check plug.
5. Allow the fluid to drain into the oil pan.
6. Once all the oil has drained out of the nut install it into the transmission drain bung to avoid losing the plug into the drain pan.
7. Install a new washer onto the drain plug.
8. Screw in the drain plug until snug.
9. Add the correct type and amount of transmission fluid.
10. Run the engine and transmission through all the gears to circulate the new fluid.
11. Re-check the fluid level and add as necessary.
