How do you adjust the headlight beam located on a 2003 Chevy Silverado?

Step 1: Park your truck on level ground.

Make sure the headlights are off and the parking brake is engaged.

Step 2: Open the hood.

To do this, pull the release lever located inside the truck on the driver's side.

Step 3: Locate the headlight adjustment screws.

There are two screws on each headlight, one for the vertical adjustment and one for the horizontal adjustment. The vertical adjustment screw is located on the top of the headlight, while the horizontal adjustment screw is located on the side.

Step 4: Turn the vertical adjustment screw.

Use a Phillips head screwdriver to turn the screw clockwise or counterclockwise until the headlight beam is level with the ground.

Step 5: Turn the horizontal adjustment screw.

Use a flat head screwdriver to turn the screw clockwise or counterclockwise until the headlight beam is centered in front of the truck.

Step 6: Close the hood.

Once the headlight beams are adjusted, close the hood and you're done!

Note: If you can't seem to get the headlight beams aligned properly, you may need to take your truck to a qualified mechanic for further assistance.
