To replace the CKP, you will need the following tools:
- Socket set
- Ratchet
- Extension
- Pliers
- New CKP sensor
Instructions:
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Locate the CKP sensor on the front of the engine.
3. Disconnect the wire connector from the CKP sensor.
4. Use a socket and ratchet to loosen the bolt that holds the CKP sensor in place.
5. Remove the bolt and pull the CKP sensor out of the engine.
6. Inspect the CKP sensor for damage. If it is damaged, replace it with a new one.
7. Install the new CKP sensor in the engine.
8. Tighten the bolt that holds the CKP sensor in place.
9. Reconnect the wire connector to the CKP sensor.
10. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
The CKP sensor is now replaced.
