Instructions:
> 1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
> 2. Remove the starter motor mounting bolts.
> 3. Remove the starter motor from the motorcycle.
> 4. Remove the solenoid wires from the starter motor.
> 5. Remove the starter motor bendix cover.
> 6. Remove the starter motor bendix gear.
> 7. Inspect the starter motor for damage.
> 8. If necessary, replace the starter motor.
