How to Test: Saturn 1.9L IGN Ignition Module

* Disconnect the wiring connector at IGN ignition coil.

* Connect a DVOM digital volt-ohmmeter between the center lead in the connector and engine ground. Check resistance.

* Resistance measured is 5,000-8,000 ohms, IGN ignition module/coil unit is OK; resistance exceeds 8,000 ohms; replace IGN ignition module coil unit assembly.
