How do you remove ignition switch on 93 ford explorer sport without a key?

1. Gather the necessary tools. You will need:

* A flat-head screwdriver

* A punch

* A hammer

* A drill

* A 1/2-inch drill bit

* A 3/8-inch drill bit

2. Remove the steering wheel. There are four bolts that hold the steering wheel in place. Remove these bolts and then pull the steering wheel off of the steering column.

3. Remove the ignition switch cover. There are two screws that hold the ignition switch cover in place. Remove these screws and then pry the cover off of the ignition switch.

4. Locate the ignition switch lock cylinder. The ignition switch lock cylinder is the part of the ignition switch that the key goes into. It is held in place by two screws. Remove these screws and then pull the ignition switch lock cylinder out of the ignition switch.

5. Drill the ignition switch housing. There is a small hole in the ignition switch housing that you need to drill out. This hole is located on the bottom of the housing, near the back. Drill the hole out with the 1/2-inch drill bit.

6. Insert the punch into the hole. Insert the punch into the hole you just drilled. The punch should go all the way through the housing and come out the other side.

7. Tap the punch with the hammer. Tap the punch with the hammer until the ignition switch lock cylinder pops out of the ignition switch housing.

8. Remove the ignition switch. Once the ignition switch lock cylinder is out, you can remove the ignition switch. The ignition switch is held in place by two screws. Remove these screws and then pull the ignition switch out of the ignition switch housing.
