1. Park your vehicle on a level surface and turn off the engine. Allow the engine to cool down for at least 30 minutes before beginning.
2. Locate the coolant reservoir. The coolant reservoir is a transparent plastic tank located on the passenger side of the engine bay.
3. Remove the coolant reservoir cap. The coolant reservoir cap is a black plastic cap located on the top of the reservoir.
4. Add coolant to the reservoir. Use a funnel to add 50/50 mixture of ethylene glycol antifreeze and water to the reservoir until the level reaches the "FULL" mark.
5. Replace the coolant reservoir cap. Tighten the cap securely to prevent leaks.
6. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. This will circulate the coolant throughout the cooling system.
7. Check the coolant level again. If the coolant level has dropped below the "FULL" mark, add more coolant until the level reaches the mark.
8. Monitor the coolant level regularly. The coolant level should remain between the "FULL" and "ADD" marks. If the coolant level drops significantly, there may be a leak in the cooling system that needs to be repaired.
