Where is the DPFE and MAF in a Ford Windstar?

The Differential Pressure Feedback EGR (DPFE) sensor on the Ford Windstar is located on the back of the engine near the firewall, on the upper intake. The sensor is held in place by two bolts.

The Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor on the Ford Windstar is located in the air duct between the air filter housing and the throttle body. The sensor is held in place by two bolts and a connector near the throttle body.

The DPFE sensor measures the difference in pressure between the intake manifold and the exhaust manifold, and sends the information to the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) to adjust the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) system accordingly. The MAF sensor measures the amount of air entering the engine and sends the information to the PCM to affect the air-fuel ratio.

It's important to make sure that the DPFE and MAF sensors are clean and free of debris for the engine to run efficiently.
