Ford focus cam timing marks ztec 2 liter 16 valve?

The camshaft timing marks on a Ford Focus ZTEC 2-liter 16-valve engine are located on the rear of the camshafts. There are two marks on each camshaft, one for the intake valve and one for the exhaust valve. The marks are aligned with corresponding marks on the cylinder head when the engine is at top dead center (TDC) of the compression stroke.

To find the camshaft timing marks, remove the valve cover. The marks will be visible on the rear of the camshafts. The intake camshaft mark is a small dot, while the exhaust camshaft mark is a small line.

To align the camshaft timing marks, rotate the engine until the marks are aligned with the corresponding marks on the cylinder head. The engine is at TDC of the compression stroke when the marks are aligned.

Once the camshaft timing marks are aligned, you can install the valve cover and timing belt.
