1. Locate the AC compressor. It is usually located on the front of the engine, near the top.
2. Identify the AC compressor clutch. It is a round, metal disc that is attached to the front of the compressor.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the AC compressor clutch.
4. Locate the AC compressor bypass hose. It is a short, flexible hose that connects the AC compressor to the condenser.
5. Remove the AC compressor bypass hose from the AC compressor.
6. Install a new AC compressor bypass hose.
7. Reconnect the electrical connector to the AC compressor clutch.
That should bypass the AC compressor and allow you to start the engine without having to worry about the AC compressor running.
